improve joint movement, reduce pain, and help the body function better.

arching, delayed milestones or heavily favored in on side of the body, ear
infections, bed wetting, acute injuries due to sports or car accidents.

A gentle way of realigning areas in the spine or extremities that
are causing undo stress on surrounding nerves, ligaments and muscles.

Yes.

How many chiropractic treatments will I need?

Everyone is different and it is dependent on severity of condition
being treated, patient underlying conditions, and goals patient is trying to
achieve.

Are there any risks associated with chiropractic treatment?

There can be light soreness 24-48 hours after a chiropractic adjustment, comparable to the feeling on braces on teeth. The minor shifts in the bones and ligaments causing this while the alignment settles into its
proper position. In rare cases strokes have been reported, ask your
chiropractor about the likelihood and potential causes of these risks.

Are chiropractic adjustments painful?

No, if the segment being adjusted is already sore there can be slight soreness associated with pushing on that area. Much like pushing on a bruise. The pain lifts and quickly as the hands or instrument of the adjustment.

Why should I pick you as my chiropractor?

I have been trained in many different methods of adjusting, that I am happy to teach you about and let you choose how you want your adjustment to be performed. I know that there are many pieces that go
into our musculoskeletal system and movement patterns and as such, I
will focus on muscle and ligament as needed to help the adjustment hold
and be more effective more quickly. I am hte first to collaborate with other
providers in the area when something lies outside of my scope of practice.
Whether that be physical therapy, fascia works, massages, physical training, etc. I always put healing and a healthy lifestyle at the forefront of
my mind and have the education to know where to send people to help
achieve that goal. If you are here to seek prenatal or pediatric care, you
are in the right hands. Since I became licensed I have become Webster
certified (the technique for perinatal care) and spent all my additional
education learning techniques in pediatric care. The majority of my
patients are in this demographic. It is not just some tool in my toolbox that
I rarely dust off, it is a practice that I utilize every day that I step foot in my
office.

How long does a chiropractic appointment last?

This heavily varies in my office depending on patient need. I
would say the average is around 15 minutes.

How are chiropractors educated?

We are educated in a graduate program where we graduate with
a doctorate in our field, then are required to complete multiple board
examinations to become licensed.

Depends who you ask, most would say yes. I like to explain it this
way- once you know what it feels like to feel your absolute best, why stop
doing what you’re doing to achieve that?

What is the crack sound during the adjustment?

Gas leaving the joint.

Can I adjust myself?

It’s preferred that you do not, especially in the cervical spine.
